Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Apte Fitness inc. collects, uses and protects your personal information when you shop on our online store (boutique.aptefitness.com). It was written in accordance with Quebec’s Law 25 and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
Simon Ducharme is the person in charge of the protection of personal information for Apte Fitness. You can reach him at any time at info@aptefitness.com.
2. Information we collect
When you place an order, we only collect what is needed to process it:
- your name, email address and phone number (optional);
- your shipping and billing address;
- your order details (products, sizes, shipping or pickup method);
- any note you add to your order.
Your payment is processed directly by our secure payment provider. Apte Fitness does not have access to your full banking information and does not store it.

3. Why we use it
- to process, prepare and deliver your order, or make it available for in-gym pickup;
- to send your order confirmation and communicate with you about your order;
- to handle exchanges and answer your questions;
- to send you our news and offers, only if you have consented (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. Sharing with third parties
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:
- our payment provider, to process your transaction;
- Canada Post, to deliver your order;
- our hosting and email providers.
Some of these providers may process data outside Quebec or Canada. In that case, we make sure your information is adequately protected, as required by Law 25. We may also disclose information when required by law.
5. Retention and security
We keep your information as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. It is protected by appropriate security measures, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and access limited to authorized people only.
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, as required by law.
6. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- request access to the information we hold about you;
- ask that it be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- request its deletion, subject to our legal obligations;
- ask to receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- withdraw your consent to marketing communications or non-essential cookies.
To exercise your rights, email info@aptefitness.com. We will respond within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. If we make significant changes, we will clearly indicate it on the store.
